www.miniinthepark.co.uk/Mini In The Park has moved to SANTA POD this year. We understand that there is 'run-wot-u-brung' on Saturday 18th, along with evening entertainment for those camping. Sunday 19th - trade stalls, concours, cars of interest, sprint action up the drag strip... Please add you name below and say if you want entrance tickets only, or entrance plus camping. Or please give your details to Emma who is co-ordinating shows for us. Advance ticket prices: Vehicle pass £6 (driver only) Additional tickets £8 (Why do they do this? Its stupid. You might as well buy an extra vehicle pass for your partner/girlfriend/mate because its £2 less. Durrrrrr!!!)Camping passes £5 per adult Under 14's Free for both entrance & camping.

Me and Alex - entrance plus camping for us both ;D Oh - forgot to say above - entrance on the day is £12 per adult. Eeek Emma - we need to get the Club stand entrance form into MITP office ASAP otherwise we may not get included in their show brochure. Last year we bought a nominal 10 vehicle passes when we sent the form off because we were sure that more than 10 members would go. Then we bought more advance tickets nearer the time when folks had decided what they were going to do. Do you want Paul to bring the MU cheque book along tomorrow?

Hi all, Sorry but we can't make tonights meeting! We will pop down next time all being well. We are still up for Mini in the Park but I'm still waiting to see if I can get time off as I'm due to be working that weekend. Either way we will only be available on the Sunday and will drive up early to Santa Pod. By the way we did take Calum and Sandras cars to Sparkford yesterday and although it was small it was a good friendly show. I would however say that even with a year to go Powderham should be a "must go show" in 2008.

Latest from roundup of peeps at the Blackbrook last night:
Advance Tickets wanted: Suzy & Alex Paul Huish Ian Wyatt Dave & Wendy Jamie Oli & Alex N-P Mike Penny Ray & Sandra Bradley - (2 tickets wanted but do you need 3 to include Callum?)
I think that Emma & Andy may be trading as per norm?
Unable to go: Mr Ben Terry & Sara Paul Wishart
Everyone else - please reply below, email me at info@MinisUnlimited.co.uk or phone me 01278 683380 / 07899 067025. Just let me know whether you want to go or not. The club has bought 12 advance discount entry tickets that as you can see from above, are now taken. So we need to get any additional advance tickets in the next week otherwise we won't get the discount on them!

Hi all, Sorry for the delay in reply but just got back from a very wet week in Cornwall. I have ordered our tickets on line from the magazine website so don't need any of the club ones. Thanks all the same!!!

To recap. Minis Unlimited purchased 12 advance admission tickets at £6. The MITP website is now advertising remaining discount tickets are £9, and they are £12 on the gate. So we've made a good saving!
Suzy (paid) Alex Paul Huish Ian Wyatt (paid) Graeme & Zoe (paid) Dave & Wendy (paid) Jamie (paid) Oli N-P (paid) Mike Penny (paid) Alex N-P Total - 12
Emma & Andy are trading. Ray, Sandra & Callum Bradley - (bought their own tickets but are obviously on the club stand with us!)
Newsflash! There may be some Club tickets available. I may get some extra tickets because Tigger has won a MiniMag Readers award, and has been invited to the show to display & get a prize. So mine & Alex's could go 'back in the pot'.
I will chase up MITP organisers; I know the Bradleys recieved their tickets on Friday, but Club's haven't come through the post yet. Don't want to get messed up by Royal Mail strikes...

Hi - I understand that the tickets have arrived (sent to Emma 'cus she was sorting out the club stand info). So we need to sort out collecting them, or sending them out (before the Royal Mail burgers up the local post again!).
I believe that Jamie has decided not to go now? Have I got that right? He's paid up. If so, Terry wants the ticket if available please.
The 2 potential new members who came to the Blackbrook on Monday, Nick & Lucy (and their 6 week old baby Grace), are interested in coming, so if any more tickets are available they'd like to say yes please.

Go the opurtunity to try and get a route planned - how would everyone be for M5-M4 Swindon Junction - Various A roads passing Oxford and through Milton-K, Santa pod? LINKY175 Miles...near enough 4 hours?

Horrible route - I did it a couple of months back to go get a front panel, and it is a souless and slow drive.
Bearing in mind the weather may be grotty and the motorways chockablock, I'd suggest M5 to 'Nam (like MitP in previous years), cut across country to Silverstone (fantastic driving roads and quicker than the Motorways) and the on to the Pod. If the M5 is bad, we can go across like last year and up through Cirencester to avoid all M-ways.
