No problems - its yours Can't believe we've got over 30 of us going! And that doesn't include counting the kids (under 16's free) or Emma & Andy. I phoned Castle Combe this week to buy the extra stuff, and discussed we need space for at least 15 Minis. So we're bound to get a decent large position for the club stand.

The tickets and track passes have arrived! I will keep them to give out when we meet up, unless you contact me beforehand and ask for them to be posted.

Castle Combe have kindly split our track passes up through the day. We have 2 slots at 9.30am, 2 at 10.00am, 2 at 10.45, 2 at 12.15pm, and 2 at 1.15. Driver's briefing must be attended beforehand. OK, that's useful to know there is an extra up for grabs. Nick Uppington emailed (yesterday at 7.56pm, i.e. before Caroline posted above) to say he can longer go due to work commitments, so he does not want his 2 tickets. I replied to Nick to say that Paul Wishart would take 1 of them, and emailed Paul to say he was in luck. Alex has mentioned he maybe would like another but has yet to confirm. Effectively there are now 2 spare tickets that unless anyone wants extra, Nick & Caroline will need to cough up. Sorry but we cannot be responsible for people swapping and changing their minds last minute! The club has paid out £314 for pre-booked tickets and passes, and we expect to have £314 back on 29th September (cash or cheque) from all members who asked for specific quantities, unless we have made note of swapsies.

We potentially have 2 extra spare tickets. We purchased a pair for Ian Hawthorn (the guy with the blue road-racer Mini who came along to the Blackbrook a couple of meetings ago). I have left 2 answerphone messages, and one message direct with his missus at home, and he still hasn't replied... I know he was keen to come up, because he said he wanted to bring his kids up too. But If we don't hear from him tonight, we'll have to assume he's not coming It is highly likely that we are bumping into the Nailsea Mini crew (Nimphos) plus the Portisham Mini club when we stop at Gordano Services at 8.15am, and I know from chatting to them that they haven't pre-booked tickets. So they've expressed interest in buying any half price ones we have left ;D
