MiniWorld Action Day is on Saturday 29th September. Generally we tend to meet up early at J23 M5 and travel up in convoy.
Please add your name below if you want to go! ;D
Admission tickets: We get 12 free tickets, so if we add up everyone who wants to go, then the Club buys additional tickets if required, then share them out fairly all at a discount rate for members.
Track passes: The Club no longer gets free track passes. We can buy 6 @ £90 valid from 9am-11am and from 4pm onwards. This is HALF PRICE, they will cost £30 on the day. We can buy extra at £20 in advance but these are limited to the first 200 applicants (or if we grovel!) So you need to decide NOW (!) if you want to loon round the track.
N.B. This is a good show to take your Mini Autojumble up to sell. We normally have a large club stand and there's always someone there to watch your stuff.

Alex + track pass. Hopefully Cyril will be going quicker this year Oli !! No doubt...but Cyril won't be going on the track this year...down to big wheels and very little gap to allow for tight turns. Sir Racealots' turn this year.

Paul Huish and Kev want admission passes, plus Paul is bound to have a track pass... Andy Weaver & Aubrey also want admission, and Andy wants a track pass.
We have booked the Club Stand, and applied for the Club offer of the 6 tickets for £90 (before 11am/after 4pm)
N.B. Even Castle Combe want all clubs to have PLI, so its a good thing we went ahead and sorted our insurance!

I've see that Castle Combe is not allowing camping this year. I've heard that some muppet left a lot of broken glass about after the Friday night last year, so yet again the few have spolit it for the many.
Lucky its our local show and we can just drive there on the morning.
EDIT - NEWS NEWS NEWS FOR DRIVERS & PASSENGERS
All Drivers must have a full UK Driving licence.
All Passengers must be over 16 years old. NEW NEW NEW FOR 2007 - Passengers must obtain a pass at cost of £5.00 from the organisers office to gain access to the curcuit. This includes personal accident insurance. Parade passengers are free.
Anyone in a car on the track must wear long sleeves/trousers and a helmet.

I don't know how much the admission tickets and passes will be. I'm trying to get answers from everyone by the end of August. Then if we need to purchase additional discounted passes, we can do so, and then work out who owes how much. So far: Admission tickets requested: Suzy, Mike Waterjohns, Paul Huish, Alex, Andy Weaver, Ian, Dave Bartlett, Dave & Wendy, Ben + brother, Oli + brother, Kev, Paul Wishart, Aubrey & Mark Elvin want admission passes. So thats 12 free tickets + 5@£10 extra = £50/16= £3.13 each (AT THE MOMENT )Track passes requested: Suzy, Mike WJ, Paul Huish, Andy Weaver, Alex, Ian x 2, Oli, Aubrey So thats 6@£15 + 3@£20 extra = £150/9=£16.67 each (AT THE MOMENT )Passengers pay £5 on the day (no advance discount). You As per our Planning Meeting 2007 discussions, we agreed that Members would get show discount. We have let that slip up to now. Mike WJ, Paul Huish, Alex, Dave Bartlett, Ben Clabburn, Mark Elvin & Kev all owe membership. But think of it this way; the saving you make with the club discount will probably pay the MU membership cost...

I'll not be needinga track pass Suzy, still dizzy from doing 55 laps of Combe last Saturday & doing a load more this Saturday.
But having said that, if anyone want some pointers out on track with regards to line etc I'll glady help.
May as well put my years of racing to good use.

Final totals, as per Blackbrook meeting on Monday. If anyone wants any more, they will need to organise themselves otherwise it mucks the total numbers and cost up.
Admission tickets: Suzy, Mike Waterjohns, Paul Huish, Mark Elvin x 2, Andy Weaver, Alex, Ian Wyatt, Dave Bartlett, Dave & Wendy, Mr Ben + brother Oli, Kev, Paul Wishart, Caroline x 2, Aubrey, Ray & Sandra, Alex N-P, Nick Uppington x 2, new member Ian Hawthorn x 2, new members Dario & James. Total = 27. The Club gets 12 free tickets. We will purchase 15 extra @ £8. MU discount admission tickets will therefore cost £4.50 each (would be £10 on the day).
Sara & Terry maybe.
Track passes: Suzy, Mike Waterjohns, Paul Huish, Andy Weaver, Alex, Ian x 2, Aubrey, Alex N-P, Dario. Total = 10. The Club has purchased 6@£15 each and will purchase 4 extra at £25. MU discount track passes will therefore cost £19 (would be £30 on the day). 6 of these tickets will need to be used up before 11am. You MUST bring a helmet.
All members will need to have paid their annual club subscription either before or on the day to take advantage of this offer.
Ticket and pass costs must be paid before or on the day. If you bring cash, please can you bring the correct amount otherwise we'll run out of change! Cheques made out to 'Minis Unlimited' please.

We purchased 18 extra tickets today, and 4 passes. They did a club deal on the passes at £20 each, and advance price of £8 for the tickets. Final costs (no changing now cus we've bought them!) Tickets £4.80 each Track passes £17 each.

Unfortunately Dave Bartlett can't go now... (He's getting pissed up on a Stag Night!) So we have 1 extra admission ticket up for grabs! First come first served - anyone want to bring an additional friend along?
