the anti rust oil leak from the sector seal!

ok i have complants at work that the mini is leaking over the drive way and so i have got a new secltor seal for it but is there any thing that i can do to help stop the oil coming out of the gear box and on to the drive way at work......

P.S. don't think my mum is not to happy about the oil on the drive way at home LOL ;D

THe rod change oil seal is a bugger for leaking - if you get one of these: www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=35775&title=GEARBOX%20ROD%20CHANGE%20ANTI%20O... they work a treat, and are easy to fit.

You've probably got weeping diff output seals too: www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=35753, but these are a bit trickier to change.

If it is a 998, then the tappet chest seals may well be weeping: www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=34319&title=RUBBER%20TAPPET%20CHEST%20GASKE... and the little rubber seals on the bolts: www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=36228&title=BUSH%20TAPPET%20CHEST%20COVER.

Best thing to do is jetwash the engine clean, then park it over a few sheets of white cardboard to find out exactly where the oil is coming from.
