It's the electronic ingition distributor (with the little module on the side) and the correct electronic ingnition coil.
There is 12 volts to the plus terminal on the coil, the distributor is wired to the coil with the ordinary lucar terminal on the plus side and the male connector on the other coil terminal.
There is no spark at all. Can the coil and ignition module be checked in any way or is it just a case of substitution?
Anyone got any known good ones?
Good news is that it turns over and shows a healthy oil pressure.
Regards,
Allen

I know of no way to check the 65D ignition modules, so I guess it is a change till it works job.
It's not electronic, but I do have a brand new Aldon Yellow available if you're interested...

anyone know what resistance should be on the electronic coil?
On the old style, points distributor, the coil should fire if the terminal normally connected to the points is momentarily earthed -could this work with this set up?
