So, there's a lot of mini mania message bored expat here, i figured i'd start a little topic just to vent a bit. I can understand the "business" decision of banning Dooder, but blatantly copying his t-shirt designs and posting them on the forum so people can vote is pushing it. Don Racine, you're shooting yourself in the foot. Most of your competitors would kill to have that kind of "community" around their website, and you're slowly driving it into a ditch. Instead of playing these games you should do your homework, you are over priced by 10 to 15%. I just saved over 200$ by ordering parts elsewhere.

It gets better with the t-shirts. The rear view of the traveller has been lifted from M-Tech Mike, and there is only one known example of a 1275GT running GT Challenge wheels without wheel arches - and Suzy most certainly didn't give permission for her car to be used...

They are not available yet Claire, and there will be a general boycott of them anyway.

Claire - these are the really smart T-shirts that get enthusiastically reviewed in MiniMag and MiniWorld. Loads of different designs, including a limited edition Mini50 ;D www.dooderwear.comThe who-har on MiniMania message board is because they got petty and chucked Dean (Dooder) off. They are now advertising their own forthcoming T-shirts, which not only has the artist ripped off his Mini drawings by styling like Dooder's, but the shirt design is pants and everyone is criticising it. Dean is one of our international MU members. The blatent copy of Mike Waterjohn's Countryman Sport is really crass . Mike is a long standing MU member, for those that don't know him he builds specialist Minis in North Petherton.

Dean (Dooder) is a stand up guy and his shirts are fabulous. Dean was well liked on the Mini Mania community and is well liked in the Mini community. It was upsetting to hear he was kicked off MM because they didn't want his shirts to compete with theirs. I'm not usually a T-shirt person but I bought 2 to support Dean and love them. My sweatshirt is fabulous too, great quality of product! I will not buy shirts from Mini Mania even if I like the design simply due to the way handled this situation. There are noticeably less members posting now on MM as well. They have now banned 2 helpful and kind members that I know of (you Mart being #2) but have allowed some rude and downright mean members to stay It's really too bad they went this route. I suppose I'll be booted next for speaking here about it. Dean also has a photo album on his website of fans around the world wearing his shirts, that is a fun bonus to owning one. www.dooderwear.com/dooderwear.com/dooderfans.htmlOkay, I think Dean owes me a free T-shirt now .
