Anyone got the sandwich bit that goes between the head and the bit with the hose outlet on it - and the longer studs?
my engine steady gets in the way of the elbow and I need the extra clearance.
regards,
Allen

The Ultimate engine steady is different for a sandwich plate thermostat housing.
I have the plate, and can probably extract some studs from a spare head, but I'm curious and would like to see what bits are fouling what.

The engine steady I have (May be an allegro one - I've a GTM remember?) bolts on two head bolts (above No1 plug) and passes under the stub on the thermostat housing (but not without the sandwich plate)
There is a third bolt horizontally into the end of the block, just round the corner from the other bolts, just above the fan belt and the belt adjustment bolt - will try to post a photo (raining right now and getting dark), perhaps tomorrow evening.

Allen

[/img] Hi, If I've got it right I've posted a picture of the steady - not sure I've got it right Is it possible for you to remove the studs and bring them to the Monday meeting? As I understand it that's this coming Monday? Let me know what you want for them. Regards, Allen Obviously failed with the photo - how do you post pictures?

I had the housing in my pocket all evening - no worries about popping round to collect.
I didn't manage to get any of the bolts out whole though - you'll need to get some 5/16" unf bolts from Electro.
