Hurrah! LSMOC have sent club pre-booking details for 2008 London-Brighton Run. Cost - £25 Ticket + 36p return postage, and include the run pack (plaque, sticker, programme) entry & parking for driver & passengers). If we want to have a club stand, we need interest FAST because there is only space for 12 clubs on Madeira Drive this year. All clubs must enter the Soapbox Challenge (self built go-kart round a slalom course). Otherwise we'll assume our entrants will want to do the normal run from Crystal Palace to Madiera Drive with the masses. Including our 'traditional' stop at McDonalds for breakfast along the way! You get guarranteed entry via a club application, but it needs to be sent off by end of February 2008. You will need to pay in full (cash or cheque). Please let Suzy know names, and give £25.36 to either her or treasurer Paul Huish by 29th Feb. Its a terrific show, and we always have a memorable day out ;D www.london-to-brighton.co.uk/

Who's doing this? I wanna get eel along again, now as he has a 1275 and can (maybe) keep up with you lot (unlike last year ) However, the exhaust mani is leaking nice poisonous gases into the cabin and the lights have decided to stop working

also, there was chat about going up on the saturday night and camping then doing L2B (and home obviously) on the sunday (hey I'm wearing my t-shirt from last year right now ;D ) but it's cool if everyone just wants to cane the who day again. Me and Ian were hallucinating on the way home though. I swear there was a lady running beside eel on one of the dual carriageways

Bring EEL round and we'll take a look at the exhaust.
Ian managed Stafford & back in a day, and that's worse than L2B !! It isn't normally too bad, as long as there are no deer or overheating issues...

Tickets arrived Easter wekend. ;D Suzy & Alex, Ian, Justin, Paul Kev & Wayne are off to Crystal Palace!
I cottoned on to LSMOC's postage game. Last year we all had to send £25 + a few pence each for postage, but they also asked for a SAE. So effectively we paid double postage. This year it was 36p each, and I sent a return envelope with no stamps. Its come back with the tickets fine, and they still make money on it... 6x36p=£2.16 and the stamped postage was £1.40. But I suppose at least we're guarranteed priority tickets, and according to LSMOC website they've sold out this year.
