South Somerset Autograss Club have secured a new race venue for 2008 at Highbridge. It is located on the land behind The Somerset Rebels Speedway Track. Race dates are April 6th & 20th May 18th August 24th & 25th Sept 14th There are 11 classes in which cars can race, ranging from 1000cc mini's to unlimited cc open wheelers. Minis race in 4 classes the fastest using Hysabusa power!!! They make z-cars look like shopping trollies! Please see www.southsomersetautograss.co.uk for details or call me 01278 663977 07817 630487 Regards Terry

Happy new year to all !!!
Its been a while since i have been on here i know but thought that as i was home today and for the rest of the week i would have a look.
I can vouch for Autograss racing as a whole load of fun (was even on the box over crimbo with the Emma Parker Bowls woman driving the class one stripped and caged 1000 cc mini)
I had limited success with class 5 in the early 90's (WS60) if anyone remembers that far back. But it cost me a fortune to run an even nearly competative car.
Will dig out some photos to put on for you guys.
Mike
