This is the event that has been noted on our list of events for a while, and there has been handouts for. Entry is FREE! The organiser is keen for a local Mini club to attend; he owns a couple of classic Coopers himself. Nice and simple - a matter of turn up, have the banner out, make sure we have plenty of flyers, and let our cars look great for the morning! Its a good opportunity because its the right catchment area for us to promote in, particularly now there is no Mini club in the Weston Super Mare area since Weston Super Minis unfortunately disbanded.
Location is at Mark Village Hall, near Burnham-On-Sea. Refreshments, jazz band, lots of interesting cars, quad bikes. Entry from 8.30am, event starts at 10am. We booked a club stand provisionally for half a dozen cars.
Volunteers to display their lovely Minis locally for the morning please!

That sounds vaguely naughty !! Should be a good day out, and is just down the road from a friend's pub... need to check it out for something happening next year anyway.

Pub is always good. Especially if we can make things happen.
The best thing that can happen at a pub is the famous disappearing beer trick. Somehow I can never do it quick so people dont notice how i do it, but i keep practising ;D ;D ;D.
I believe that weather permitting I will be there

The show bumphff says exhibitor entry from 8.30am onwards on Sunday, with gates open to the public at 10.00am.
If no-one has any objection, I'd suggest we meet at the usual layby by J23 (Dunball) of the M5 next to Puriton at 8.45am, with a view to head off up the road at 9.00am. We should then get to the event at about half past giving enough time to sort ourselves out & put up the banner. I wasn't planning to take the posts & gazebo; I get the feeling it may be a bit informal for that, and we can always pop back and get it if required.

Well for a show that size, it wasnt all that bad! ;D The Cheddar run was a great laugh as well as Suzy so eliquently announced to the pub afterwards:
"BRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAWWWWMMM...and then...BROOOOOOOOWWWWAMMM...."
