Pub meetings alternate with local runs. Hopefully you will find these dates handy to jot down in your diaries. The following dates are 'normal' Monday evening pub meetings at the Blackbrook Tavern (8pm onwards) i.e. sit down and have a chat to catch up with everyone. We will endeavour to provide an up-to-date list of forthcoming events and fixtures to hand out each time. It is also your opportunity to order clothing. 24 July, 21 August, 18 September, 16 October, 13 November, 11 December. The following dates are 'Runabout' nights. We would love volunteers to lead a local drive or organise a treasure hunt etc. Generally, please can you be in the pub car park at 8pm, ready to leave by 8.15pm. 7 August, 4 September, 2 October, 30 October, 27 November25 December - no meeting because we will be too full of Christmas pudding!

Cheers Suzy - deffinately helps the less organised of us ;D Grill - I believe theres another thread somewhere for the grill as such... minisunlimited.proboards55.com/index.cgi?board=shows&action=display&thread=1150734100&page=27th August seems to be the proposal unless suggested otherwise. As for the AGM...we did try and have one back in early Feb if I remember straight... the thing is, just how much more would we get done with an AGM that we wouldnt get done without one?

AGM For the past 2 years the informal AGM has been held in January. So it will be programmed for January 2007, venue TBA. Because we have grown in numbers, it will probably be a good idea to hold it in a quieter location than a pub so everyone is able to listen easier and put forward suggestions.
Grill Firstly - there is nothing to stop us from organising our own beach barbeque (or similar) if someone would like to take the lead and suggest time/place.
Secondly - I believe Alex was talking to the Blackbrook staff last night when leaving the meeting. The bar staff were disappointed with the Manager's lacklustre comments to us a while back, namely both he and the Chef were away in August so a repeat barbeque was not viable in time for MITP. However, the bar staff (such as the regulars Liam & Irene) are well up for organising again, and the bar manager told us they held a corporate barbeue only last week. They now have new equipment for outside, including new cooking gear, big gazeebo etc. They admit last year had hiccups; the grill broke down, they had to hire alternative plus a chef in last minute, and the food/ticket system needed improving. But they have learnt from their first effort with Summer Mini Grille, and last week's private do was very successful. So they'd love to offer the facilities again, at a time/date suitable to both. ;D Its too late to advertise and organise for MITP, but we could sensibly sort something out before the autumn if everyone can lend a hand?

that can easily be arranged, but i think we will need to leave before 8:15 to enable us to come off the M5 and do some of the lanes ;D ;D ;D we will be able to get chips etc there, so people needn't worry about eating before they come out. could people manage to be at Blackbrook a bit earlier? perhaps 7:45 so we could leave promptly at 8? we should then be in weston by 9pm

We normally advertise for a 8pm start with a view to leave at 8.15pm, but I'll send an email circular round. Some folks don't have or access email though. But WSM Run sounds a good plan ;D
I have a backup plan in case it rains hard again! I've prepared another Scavenger Hunt (1 time limit in and around Taunton). So if we have a run-about evening that either doesn't go to plan, or gets rained off, we can still do something quick & local.
