From most other events I'd hazard a guess at the crack of dawn at the Blackbrook ;D

Ian Wyatt and Tom Bousfield have unfortunately pulled out. They both booked 1 admission pass plus 1 camping pass.
Vicky Osborne asked on Sunday if any spare were going so she could bring a friend. Andy McP also asked on Sunday if one was available for his Dad, but after phoning him he found he'd already purchased a ticket (and the camping is the same price at the gate I believe). Dave Smart text today asking if one was going spare.
So if its a case of first come (well asked!), first served, and if no-one has any objections, Dave & Vicky pay for the spares? It save the club losing money.
Adam - yes will send yours; will pop in postbox tomorrow morn.

We've never met at the crack of dawn at the Blackbrook as far as I can remember...
It'll be midday-ish at the usual spot in the layby at Dunball (J23). Terry & Sara can pick up the convoy at Weston if they want, as we will be doing the first leg of the journey on the M5.

We will aim for a midday meet at the layby, and leave appropriately late...
Previous form indicates a stop at the Air Balloon pub for a pie & pint & wee, (which is basically the halfway point) before carrying on to the showground.
Depending on how far you guys live from the Weston M5 junction, we can call you as we leave Dunball as it takes about 18 minutes to get there.

we are only about 5 mins away form M5, so if you could give us a ring that would be great.
as we are bringing 2 cars, and 1 is not a mini, can anyone tell us if the 'non mini' will be allowed onto the site? or will i have to leave it parked out on the road?

the non mini should be fine on the camp site as i took the clio last year with no problems. no sure about club stand because of the looks as it not a mini though.
always worth a try though!

We usually have a couple of non-Minis on the back of the stand behind the gazebo - most clubs do.

Alex, and all Just thought that i ought to let you know that I will no longer be able to make MITP . Work have bent me over a barrell. i am really diappointed but what am i supposed to do. It means i have a ticket to get rid of with a camping pass if anyone wants it. never mind I guess i will have to wait until next year. i will try to pop up to dunball at midday to see you guys off. Thanks once again to all for the generous offers of a ride. Next year Bill will not have a broken gearbox Mike

err to say the least - the heavy rain...well more lead-weight rain was quite a dhallenge on the way up, but thankfully held out long enough to setup camp once we got up there.
On a scale of shows this place was HUGE - we had to drive a good 5-10 mins to get to the showstands! The weather on sunday was great and aside from having enough sheep poo on the ground to start a small composting company, it was a great start.
There were also buggy racing, auto-test track where dave smart continually thrashed all and sundry in his path to a top time of just 37 seconds (clarify?). Helicopter rides, rolling road, and mini-push....amongst countless mini clubs, organisations and a plethora of trade stands, auto jumble and sale cars.
Fan-mini-tastic! ;D
