'Classics at the Castle' on the Sunday 18th of June Its at Sherborne Castle
Club stands are free but each car has to pay £7 entry, you get a 50ft x 50ft plot. and i believe club applications have to be in by the 1st of june.
there is also a run being held, its a 75mile trip, i believe starting at north petherton, which is handy. and obviously ending at the show.
they also have craft tents etc, so if emma wants a craft stand the prices are:
7ft x 6ft inside a craft tent, £15 20ft x 20ft outside the tent, £20
my mum has one, and called up last week and was able to get on straight away. the number is 01935 474630, merlin events.
i will be there setting up for my mum, then i will be on the nostalgia cars stand., so i wont be able to do the run.

We have booked in to do this show and will aim to be up there Saturday and camp too. Does anyone else fancy this?? It might not be too late to arrange a club stand as the guy was really helpful today when I spoke to him. I will happily call and arrange space if I know some of you want to come........ ;D

If any club stands are booked on behalf of the club, they need to be through the central contact/address/phone/email to avoid any confusion please.I still hear of communication via my old Thornfalcon or Ilminster address - I've been in Bridgwater for 5 years for goodness sake!!! By the way Anyone is welcome to borrow the club equipment (banner, gazeebo, posts etc. for display as long as they collect, & bring them back. I'd also expect them to come back in as good state as they were picked up in! The gazeebo is 1.5m long, but is too heavy for a roofrack, so you need either a Mini Estate/Van or larger to carry it. The banner poles are light enough to be strapped to roofbars (which if necessary I could lend).

Only just got the message Em as my phone is turned off and left in the car during working hours due to security arrangements on site.
Suzy's number is sprayed liberally around on all our promotional literature.

My phone number is splattered over all MU paperwork you dippy twit!!! ;D LOL 07899 067025 or 01278 456104 for reference. TBH I saw that Matt had posted this idea, and knew it had been mentioned in passing between members at the recent meetings, but there hadn't been a huge response to have a specific stand at this show. I will send an email circular out to flag up up for attention. Its getting a little late to round the troups up (and we do have plenty of other things planned locally), but if folks feel they want to go to the show as a club, it sounds like we could get something sorted pretty quick.
