An 'eventful' weekend for all I think!! Firstly we got diverted off the M5 becuase the motorway was shut at 5am on Sunday morning... I believe Paul couldn't park his Mini in the campsite becuase they didn't allow 'vans' in there! So there was some rain. And then unfortunately Graeme broke down on the A23. Not the best of choices - on a 'No Stopping' dual carriageway just after a fast roundabout! So we donned our pac-a-macs... And discovered the drive nut had unscrewed, nay, fallen off, with no thread on the nut. Breakdown was called! Thanks to Jamie who was used as reference on the phone to find the correct Insurance advert in MiniWorld to get the details. So eventually we met up with the others on Madiera Drive, who laughed at our damp state and misfortune... and then Kevin's car protested and wouldn't start either! Not the most successful L-B Run ever, but certainly an interesting day out ;D

Graeme removed his run plaque this evening as we inspected the damage, and is going to change the wording to "London to Breakdown"...
Investigation of the front end has revealed more problems than anticipated - replacement of the big nut has gotten everything back together again, (and would have enabled him to complete the run were it available yesterday) but the two knackered wheel bearings, flopsie balljoints all round and worn out discs requires replacements... Luckily the CVs and drive flanges appear to be okay.
