For sale:Fully refurbished Tamiya M01 Mini Cooper chassis; stripped down, checked, re-greased and ball raced throughout. New centre chassis to tidy the undercarriage up. Acoms transmitter, receiver and servos. Used HPI wheels plus tyres and inner sponges. Standard speed controller. Standard dampers. I have a set of new shiney minilights on their way, which you can have as an option. Included is a copy of an build/instruction manual, plus a ‘care’ kit (hex wrench, grease, extra screws, switch lube, additional bodyclips). The bodyshell is a brand new HPI Cooper shell, designed for this length chassis. The shell is almost identical to the Tamiya Rover Mini Racing body, but you get a moulded in bumper at the front (instead of none), and the sticker set is actually better. A window masking sheet is in the kit. It is currently unpainted, so you can finish it off to make it look like your real car! Tamiya PC aerosols cost £4 each. If you would like me to assist you with that, I can do so (check out ‘mini’ Purple Ronnie I did for Andy Muff in the General forum). minisunlimited.proboards55.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1162634100The chassis, shell & refurb has cost me £80 (which is what you'd pay at least on Ebay for a good condition runner with electronics). I'd like to offer it to you guys for that amount before I put it up for auction later this month. Think of it as a Christmas present to you and your car!

Dave/Wendy I'd prefer to sell this as a complete car package. However, since you already have a chassis & electronics, how about I offer to give your existing one a restoration & service, and you commission a bodyshell to fit straight on it? (just like a Sportspack 500 ). It'll work out loads cheaper. I'd have to have a think about how to do metallic effect Tahiti blue... just done a solid blue for a replica 'Bogus' but yours would need some sparkle. The Tamiya metallic blue is a bit too light for that: I do have an additional HPI shell, but Paul asked me to get it as he wants a yellow one to match B. He bought a chassis & radio gear recently, and I've offered to do pretty much the above for him. I estimated it would cost £20 for the shell and a £tenner's worth of paint. Plus a pint down the pub ;D

Sure! I can bring it along to the next MU meeting if you'd like to have a good look. Its the other one I brought along when Andy was eyeing them up a couple of meets ago. N.B. This Mini doesn't need welding...

Not only can I do dents, but I can replicate the unique smear left by a pheasant and a few feathers as well...

Dave collected the r/c Mini last night at the Blackbrook meeting for Wendy to have a good look at. She has first dibs on it because she asked first, but if she wants to change her mind, it'll be up for grabs again or put on Ebay. We found that Paul's new chassis appeared to have no drive whatsoever! So that's come back home with me for a jolly good service plus spraying a new bodyshell to look like yellow & black B.

You're looking at £20-£25 for a shell. If you want it painted well (a colour plus a contrasting roof/grille and a backing) its going to cost an extra £tenner if you use Tamya PC polycarb aerosols. Come on Dave - you know you need a little Dorris body for your own Tamiya chassis...
