Posted on behalf of a lady who has emailed the club with the following info:
I am having to sell my Cooper. She has a history that I think a real enthusiast would be interested in. She was the test mini for Rover, who tested a 5 speed gear box in her. This was subsequently removed and she is now 4 speed again.
The Mini is a 1990 'H' reg John Cooper. She is BRG with a walnut dash, half leather seats and five mini lites. I have been driving her to Exeter every day until the end of June this year and as such have not renewed the MOT. She is really a restoration project as she looks a bit scruffy! The A panels need renewing as do the roof sills. I think she is ok underneath apart from a really blowy exhaust.
£500 ono. My telephone number is 01398 323945. Email alisonprouse@tiscali.co.uk Many thanks Alison Prouse
