Right its all wired up. Its ready to roll. But still I have no brum brum. I need help! The problem with doing solo work is that when you need that second person there, there isn't one.
As much as I know.... The starter turns. The fuel pumps and goes into the carb, the rotor arm goes round and round. I am lacking in the ability to fire Which draws me to dizzy cap needs replacing, the plugs are in the wrong position, the engine is too retarded on timing and so just wont start. Or the ignition coil actually wont send a spark cos its dead.
Any otther ideas? Or anyone free to lend us a hand with tea and petrol rewards?
Many thanks!
Alex

Electronic dizzy or points ? Have you static timed the dizzy ? If you put a plug lead onto a spare plug and earth it, do you hav a spark ? If you have a spark, is it a good spark or weak & feeble ?
I'm booked up solid for a week so can't get out there, but am on the end of a phone and can talk you through stuff you want.
