finally went and collected my new mini today and it is now safe in its new home am looking for suggestions for a name all we can think of is either bogy or loogy. also went and collected my mate micheals new mini today i think on balance he probably got a better deal as he only paid £100 for this has been off the road for 4 years but still starts and runs needs a bit of welding but surprisingly little for such a low price. . also quick question how do you tell the difference between a verto and non verto clutch? dont know if this pic will help. as i will probably renew it before putting the engine back in the car.

Just drawn up a list of the parts i am going to need to get the car back on the road is quite a long one mostly just little bits like speedo cable and the like. but if anyone has any of these parts that they are willing to part with let me know.
complete heater inc matrix windscreen wiper motor and the bar seat belts inertia front and static back ones shock absorbers alternator the long bolt that holds the radiator in to its bottom bracket chrome grill also could do with a new bonnet and boot lid but not desperately but if anyone has one in this colour i would def be interested.
will probably get the rest of the bits from ebay and minispares.

Nice to see you getting stuck in straight away ! That is a pre-verto clutch, same as the one we changed on the brown car.
You're more than welcome to pop round and have a rootle through the boxes of bits in the shed - I think I've got a lot of what you're after.

I've got a spare puller somewhere you can borrow, along with the tools for the primary gear oil seal. You'll need a 1.5" socket and a decent torque wrench as well.
As we found last time, it's much easier to do out of the car...
