Anyone interested in a day out to Steve Harris's rolling road for a magazine style shootout ?
I was chatting to Steve & Brenda about it over the weekend. We'd need pretty firm numbers and deposits before booking anything.

It's a bit of a chicken and the egg situation... Before diving in and asking for prices, I need to have a rough idea of numbers interested in principle as the cost is normally on a sliding scale. The timescale is very flexible, as I'm sure we all have engines to fettle (or cars to finish) in preparation for testing.

If the price is right then we would have 3 cars

I was about to ask how the two of you would get 3 cars there, but then remembered that Freya can drive...
It's not normally too expensive for a group booking, as all you get is one or two power runs and a brief word of advice instead of in depth testing and adjusting. I'd be horrified if it was more than £10-20 a car.

When I took my Cooper35 on the MiniSpares rolling road shootout a few years ago, it cost about £25. If you consider a decent rolling road costs at least £60/hr, by the time they strap your car down, run it up a couple of times, give some advice and then get it off for the next vehicle, its about 20 minutes to half an hours worth.
