This has come up quickly!
Remeber we are not entered in the inter-club competions this year. Instead we are hosting the Sound-Off & Shout-Off (thanks to Steve Tubbs organising the equipment). The sound-off display area will be placed directly behind our club stand.
However we are expected to join in the show's SuperHero theme, so we need to finalise our plans for the club stand. Please can we have ideas FAST!
There has been suggestion to get yellow coloured pants with our logo on the front for us all to wear. This would involve purchasing Y-fronts or similar, yellow dye, and some T-shirt transfers to iron on? Plus maybe some material to make some capes?
Is there anything else we can think of? It would be nice to see some others take the lead on this, and everyone will pitch in with help as per normal. ;D

Hey, I believe the club stand is being judged separately to the club competitions so there is still prize money up for grabs! Like the sound of the pants -sure you will all look very sexy!!!

Yep sounds good - any idea as to what our club stand involves? (Scaffolding, gazeebo?)
Also do we pay to get in if we're related to club stand?

The club stand will almost certainly be the posts and gazebo as usual - the outdoor in a field events make it very dodgy putting up the scaffolding as it needs a flat floor and no wind.
I think we need capes and masks as well as the Pants !

Errr.... thanks Matt... However dressing the cars could be fun. ;D In answer to the query re. admission: £7 entry on Sunday (adult), under 12's free. £15 entry on Saturday (I am 99.9% certain this includes the camping charge). Campsite is open from midday on Saturday. Show opens at 9.30am on Sunday, and the cars, sound-off equioment & club stand must be in position before then.

We should be on the same pitch as last year - right next to the marquee and the centre of attention !

is any one from the mini club going to be entering our sound off adam Well volunteered Adam! ;D ;D Matt basically has a good idea - why don't we dress the cars up? Tigger could be Batman (I suppose! : and Tubbs as Robin. We have blue and red cars which could be Superman & Spiderman, or even the Fantastic 4. Captain America was red, white & blue. Anyone know a car like that?! The Phantom was purple. Ronnie? Who wants to make a lassoo and be Wonder Woman?! www.internationalhero.co.uk/I see from internet sites that X-Men are also classed as Superheros. I will be wtahcing the film over the weekend as research. Alex says its just for me to stare at Hugh Jackman as Wolverine... Could we invite the actor to stand next to my car throughout the Bristol Show please?

Oh yeh..and the club sign that is fast becomming a myth...will that be there as well?

That'll be the 'mythical' banner that was prominantly displayed at Stoneleigh then Oli... You could do a twist on Captain America and promote your splendid painted Union Flag as Captain Great Britain

Just thought that I would ask if anyone is planning on travelling up to the Bristol Show on the Sunday Morning..
Just in case for any reason I am not able to make it up to the show on the Saturday I will be going early on the Sunday and would enjoy the company of any other interested minis on the run up to Bristol.
I would be leaving at about 8.30 on the Sunday morning and would suggest that anyone who may like to meet up at say Junction 23 of the M5 in the laybys as most others are doing on the saturday.
