Here he is, the Smurf, Plenty of work to do to him, just everywhere but here are some pics and a general breakdown!
Here we have the mini, Aged 20, like me, has a mere 38,750miles on the clock at the moment, and those are very much genuine, yes the clocks have been changed, but I have nearly every single document and service record, and MNot that the car has been though during its life. It has a zeemax bodykit which was fitted about 5 years ago and is showing some wear n tear, as well as the spoiler and bonnet. It does need alot of cleaning work especially in the engine bay which I should be able to complete before the show at castle combe.... (Should... being the optimal word).
I picked him up off ebay with no tax and a long MOT for £2000, well £1950 as he needs new locks!
I have already replaced altenator n fanny belt, ignition coil, leads, plugs, oil n filter, and replaced the original air filter with a k&n cone, mainly because the inlet manifold was melting the plastic air box as it was the wrong one. It does need a little tuning, slight richening of the mixture as it has very little acceleration without the choke. This because of the obvious and stupidly noisy exhaust. LCB 3-2-1 to a twin back box, not subtle in anyway shape or form! rear tined window and half tinted front windows. its running on starmag 13x7s on Pirelli P7F 175-50 tyres, g max shocks and hi lo suspension. it's a little rusty on all the sill covers from the roof to the bodykit which all need replacing, as does the boot, and needs a full respray eventually. With all the extra spares I got I'm very happy with the buy.
